Hello MetaboAnalyst team,
I am having a problem generating volcano plots in MetaboAnalyst.
Last year, I was able to successfully generate volcano plots using my metabolomics data. However, when I recently uploaded the exact same dataset and used the same settings, the volcano plot could no longer be generated. The plot area appears blank, with the axes displayed from 0 to 1, but no data points are shown.
The same dataset can still be analyzed normally using Fold Change Analysis and t-test, and both modules generate results successfully. Therefore, it seems that the data can be read by MetaboAnalyst, but the Volcano Plot module does not display the results properly.
This issue is also affecting my new metabolomics data, as I am currently unable to generate volcano plots for the new dataset either.
I would like to ask whether there have been any recent changes to the Volcano Plot module, data format requirements, or interactive plotting system. Could this issue be related to the plotting module, session/cache problems, or data formatting?
I would appreciate any suggestions for troubleshooting this issue.
