I am performing a pathway analysis using Metaboanalyst and one of my metabolites is melilotocarpan A. Metaboanalyst recognizes the right HMDB ID for this metabolite, but the suggested Pubchem and KEGG ID’s actually link to cystathionine, which is a metabolite with a completely different chemical formule. I also cannot find a link between these two metabolites anywhere on the internet. Is this a mistake in Metaboanalyst or are melilotocarpan A and cystathionine in fact related to each other?
