What is matched empirical cound in function analysis

hi every ono

I’m doing funciton analysis by mummichog. The table of compound hits show a column named “empirical compound”. What is that? How do i know each name of the compound given the compound ID (begins with ECxxxxx)? Meanwhile, the “matched compound” shows KEGG ids (since I choose Kegg pathway). Is these two relatable?
