Uploading large FASTq files using Google Driver

Our pro version supports Google Driver upload, which is suitable for large files and slower bandwidth

  1. Organize all your fastq files into a single folder (for example “test_fastq2”)
  2. Share your folder with “support@xialab.ca”
  3. Grant the role as “Editor”
  4. Copy the sharing link
  5. Click “Done” button to finish
  6. Paste the URL to the “Google Drive URL:” space in the data upload page

Thank you for the information.

If anyone also encounters issues with generating the correct link, I add here some additional information. ExpressAnalyst specifically asks for the Google Drive link in the format ending with ‘…usp=drive_link’. To generate such a link, I had to use the link icon of the folder instead of copying the link from the window as explained in step 3, there it creates a link with the ending ‘…usp=sharing’ which does not work for the upload.
