I used MetaboAnalyst to investigate the differences in the metabolic profiles of patients vs controls. In the resulting figure, some metabolite names are truncated. For example, tryptophane appears as tryptophan, even though tryptophane is the correct name. How can this issue be addressed?
Many metabolites have very long names and will be truncated in order to display properly. However, tryptophane is not that long. This must due to the name standardization process. MetaboAnalyst mainly based on HMDB and KEGG, they both shows Tryptophan not Tryptophane
