Questions about Pathway Analysis and MetaboAnalystR

Hello

I have several questions regarding pathway analysis:

  1. How exactly is the pathway impact score calculated? I’m looking for an equation to be specific.
  2. In the pathway analysis figure(scatter plot) if you click on the circle, it shows a network image juxtapose to it. Is there a way to download this network file and/or access using R?

Also regarding MetaboanalystR:
Is the functionality of MetaboanalystR 4.0 equivalent to Metaboanalyst 6.0?

  1. If you are using MetaboAnalystR, you can always get the exact code/equation - just search the corresponding R command in our GitHub or your local R package. Note you can find the corresponding R commands using example data in the public web;

  2. The network is based on JavaScript for web-based interactions. You can download static SVG/PNG image, but not interactive one locally (as it requires a web server)

  3. Yes, Metaboanalyst 6.0 uses MetaboanalystR 4.0 for data processing and analysis
