Peak list with p-value

Continuing the discussion from Peak list with P value:

Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I would like to ask generally about the p-value and %CV and how it was calculated in the peak feature summary table. If there were more than t two groups being compared in the analysis, how can you obtain a p-value?
Thanks

  1. You can always edit your peak intensity table to contain the two groups of interest; upload this table to Statistics Module to get p values using t-test.

  2. By default, p-values will be calculated based on ANOVA (>2 groups). You can still use the p values for functional analysis, although it would be difficult to interpret - this is inherent in ANOVA.
