I have metabolomics data for two groups of samples, control and drug x treated. There are 6 samples in each group along with metabolite concentrations for 113 metabolites.
My end goal is to understand the effects that drug x has on metabolism but I’m not sure if Pathway analysis or Enrichment Analysis is the best way to go. I’m still unclear as to how metaboanalyst looks at the groups and the data to determine significantly affected pathways when provided with metabolite concentrations.
Any papers or information would be much appreciated!
