Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to do a one-way anova type of analysis. I have 5 groups and want to compare them (no specific control), but they are not paired samples.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Have you tried (either web or using R package)? One-way ANOVA is relatively straightforward. If you are not sure, use our web interface to find out the R command history.
