Issue with data editor

Hi,

I am trying to select groups with “Data editor” in Statistical Analysis [one factor], but the selection is not taken into account for normalization and statistical analysis.

I reproduced the error with this test data set : Metabolite concentrations of 39 rumen samples measured by proton NMR from dairy cows fed with different proportions of barley grain (Ametaj BN, et al.). Group label - 0, 15, 30, or 45 - indicating the percentage of grain in diet.
After selecting the data set, I clicked on : Submit > Proceed > Normalize > Data editor > Edit groups > Submit

Then Normalize > Proceed :

Then PLS-DA (for example) :

As you can see, all the groups were still included in the normalization results and the PLS-DA score plot.

I hope you can resolve this issue.
Thanks, best regards.

Hi! I had the same problem. I edited the groups and samples and submitted. From the r code, the group editing was taken into account but the sample was not. And when it comes to Normalization and Set parameter, both the selections weren’t taken in account.

I had the same problem. After editing the groups and normalizing the data, then submitting, the excluded groups were still included.

Concurring that I am also experiencing this issue. Excluded groups are not being removed from the analysis after editing and normalising the data.
