How to decided between PCA, PLS-DA, sPLSDA, OrthoPLSDA?

I would like to compare the metabolomic data (untargeted) between two different groups.
How can I know what type of analysis I need to perform?
What would be the best option PCA, PLS-DA, sPLSDA, or OrthoPLSDA?

Hello,
PCA is an unsupervised analysis, while others are supervised based on the class information. There is no absolute definition which one is the best because they are constructed with different algorithm and shows different performance for different data. You can read these papers
