Dear MetaboAnalyst community, during “Data Check” we found an issue regarding “Edit Groups Update”. We ran 2 separate workflows with identical data and we end up with 2 different results. This difference was caused by the “Update” of Groups within the “Data Integrity Check” session. Without the “Update”, we got Kruskal-Wallis test p=1.34e-22 after filtering step; however, with “Update” we got p=4.07e-17. The “Edit Group Update” was not necessary, because the uploading process identified the groups correctly. This issue affected also the results of the ANOVA analysis (21 vs 242 significantly different features among groups). Could you please help us to identify the underlying problem?
