What normalization method does DeSeq2 use?

Hey guys,

I’m a little new to the area and I have some questions regarding MDP analysis and I would be grateful if someone could help me. My question is: does DeSeq2 use its own normalization method in single factor analysis? If yes, which one? Otherwise, will the normalization method chosen in the “Data Normalization” section be used by DeSeq2?
