Unable to perform Meta-analysis

Hello, I’ve been using the microbiome analyst meta-analysis module. I have 3 datasets which I would like to do the batch correction and perform the standard diversity analysis (ie alpha, beta). I have faced 2 issues:

1. Although I can upload the files in the free version, I keep getting the error message on the pro version.

2. Although each individual study can be entered into MA, and I can do the beta diversity (Aitchison(Euclidean) Distance Metric with CLR), the moment I try in the meta-analysis function I get the error in the 2nd photo.

The detailed processes and steps are as follows:

1. The 3 files are annotated to HOMD (so I selected not specified/others)

2. I applied the standard filters (Variance 15%, minimal count 4 and 10% abundance, followed by CLR transformation and applied adjust study batch effect.

3. At the meta-analysis parts, I am unable to do the alpha/beta diversity (error message pops up). I am however, able to visualize the abundance in the bar charts.

a. When I click the biomarker discovery part it just doesn’t move to the next page.

Could I seek help to trouble I’ve attached the count and meta files here.

COUNT study 1.csv (95.4 KB)

COUNT Study 2.csv (40.8 KB)

COUNT Study 3.csv (195.0 KB)

META Study 1.csv (1.2 KB)

META Study 2.csv (628 Bytes)

Meta Study 3.csv (3.3 KB)

shoot these issues?

Thank you for sharing the data and detailed steps. The issue is fixed. I can see alpha- and beta- results (attached). We are testing and consolidating all omics tools into a single OmicsVerse. The migration will complete this weekend - you should be able to do the analysis on Monday.

Hello, Thank you very much, i’ll try tonight and see if it works!

Hello!

Really sorry for the trouble, I’ve tried it out, and was able to get the projections and the taxa abundance part.

However, the moment I tried the diversity meta-analysis, it doesn’t work.

For Alpha i got the blue screen:

For the Beta i got the same error message as the last time:

I was using the same files as previously uploaded. They work individually in the microbiome analyst, so I’m not sure what is the issue.

Thank you!

I assumed that your were using PRO tool, that’s why I suggested you to try out OmicsVerse.com. For public tool, please wait for the next update

Hello!

Apologies for the trouble, actually, I tried to use the paid version of the tool, but it didn’t work out.

1st i cannot log on to MicrobiomeAnalyst through the OmicsVerse

If i log in thru the older link it works, but i cannot upload the files into the tool. (same problem in the original situation)

So far, the free version has got me the furthest.

Thank you.
