Hello, a potential reason is that some of the groups do not have replicates which is required for the category factor. If this is not the case, you can follow our post guidelines for detail trouble shooting.
Empty cell is considered as missing data and those samples labeled as empty will be removed during analysis. We can actually add the function to automatically deal with empty data. But it’s better you double check and make sure you upload correct information.
