This answer is dependent on the biological question you try to answer. For the tool itself, it requires the same sample IDs used in both datasets. You can always download our example dataset to see the details

For instance, if I have healthy and diseased groups, with 6 samples in each group, however, the microbiome and metabolomics data are not paired of each group, can I correlate these two types of data though?
