Chao1 and Observed alpha diversity identical

Hi there,

I think I noticed a bug with the Alpha Diversity module of MicrobiomeAnalyst. The values reported for the default ‘Chao1’ are identical to that of ‘Observed’. All values are integers so I assume that the values actually represent ‘Observed’.

But I have tested using our example data. The result by “Observed” and “Chao1” are not identical. So I think there might be something with your data. Could you please double check?

Ah, my mistake. I just realized I don’t actually have any singletons in my data!
