Problem in Installing MetaboanalystR and package dependencies (qs)

I don’t manage to install the program. It sends me this error message:

install.packages(“~/Downloads/MetaboAnalystR_3.2.0.tar.gz”, repos = NULL, type = “source”)
ERROR: dependency ‘qs’ is not available for package ‘MetaboAnalystR’
Perhaps try a variation of: install.packages(‘qs’)
Warning message:
In utils::install.packages(“~/Downloads/MetaboAnalystR_3.2.0.tar.gz”, :
installation of package ‘/Users/natacha/Downloads/MetaboAnalystR_3.2.0.tar.gz’ had non-zero exit status

And when I check, I see that the qs packages is not supported anymore (replaced by qs2). I doesn’t work with qsé, when I try to install qs manually, I get this error message:

install.packages(“~/Downloads/qs_0.27.3.tar.gz”, repos = NULL, type = “source”)

Could you please help me?

Thanks in advance,

Natacha

It seems that the issue is related to the deprecated qs package, not the MetaboAnalystR.
Note its current version MetaboAnalystR 4.2, which is using qs2, not the old qs package
