Hi,
I am trying to use the Marker Data Profiling tool and running into an error with the data normalisation step. I can upload the OTU table, Metadata file, and Taxonomy file and perform the filtering steps (changing the ‘Minimum count’ from 4 to 2 and ‘Percentage to remove (%)’ from 10 to 0), but receive the error “Error - Possible cause of error (last one being the most relevant) when I hit “submit” with the data normalising (selecting ‘Rarefy to the minimum library size’, ‘Do not scale my data’ and ‘Centred log ratio (CLR)’).
I used the website with the same data files and settings with no problem on 21/9/2026 but since then am getting this error message and cannot proceed. The error only occurs if I select “rarefy to a data size of 34796”. It works if I select do not rarefy, however I want to rarefy. Please find attached the data input files and screenshots of each step.
