How does miRNA sequence domains defined in the miR-SNP module?

The sequence domains of miRNA are defined as below:

  • primary (100 bp sequence flanking the precursor – “Primary‐Up” and “Primary‐Down”)
  • 5′ and 3′ precursor arms (“End”)
  • 5′ and 3′ mature
  • seed region (2–8 bp of mature miRNA)
  • precursor loop (between mature miRNA)
